Gingerbread is variety of sweet confectionery products, which has different range from a soft, moist loaf of cake to something close to a ginger biscuit. They all have one thing in common ,predominant flavors of ginger and a tendency to use honey or molasses rather than just sugar. 

Ingredients for Making GingerBread:
One cup oatmeal stout or Guinness Stout
One cup dark molasses (not blackstrap)
Half teaspoon baking soda
Two cups all-purpose flour
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
Two tablespoons ground ginger
One teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
1/4 teaspoon freshly grated nutmeg
Pinch of ground cardamom
Three large eggs
One cup packed dark brown sugar
One cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup vegetable oil
Confectioners sugar for dusting

Accompaniment: Unsweetened whipped cream
Directions to Make gingerbread Cake :
Preheat oven to 350°F. Butter bundt pan and dust with flour, Removing out excess by knocking.

Get stout and molasses to a boil in a large container and remove from heat. Beat in baking soda, then cool to room temperature.

Whisk together flour, baking powder, and spices in a large bowl. Beat eggs and sugars together. Beat in oil, then molasses mixture. Add to flour mixture and beat until just combined.

Pour batter into bundt pan. Rap the pan sharply on counter to avoid any air bubbles. Bake in center of oven about 50 minutes. Cool the cake in pan on a rack 5 minutes. Turn out onto rack and cool completely.

Serve the sprinkle with icing sugar, with whipped cream.

Red velvet cake recipe, How to make Red velvet cake.

Red velvet cake is a famous cake with a dark red or red-brown color. It is basically made as a layer cake topped with vanilla icing, or cream cheese icing. Ingredients include buttermilk, butter, flour, cocoa, cookie dough using that filling, and beetroot or red food coloring. 

Ingredients for making Red velvet Cake :

Two tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
Two ounces red food coloring
One cup buttermilk
One teaspoon salt
One teaspoon vanilla extract
Half cup shortening
1 1/2 cups white sugar
two eggs
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour, sifted
1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
One teaspoon white vinegar

One cup milk
Five tablespoons all-purpose flour
One cup white sugar
One cup butter
One teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions to Make Red velvet Cake :
Grease round pans. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). make paste of cocoa and food coloring. Set aside.
Mix the buttermilk, salt and one teaspoon vanilla. Take a large bowl, cream together the shortening and 1 1/2 cups sugar until light and fluffy. Whisk the eggs one at a time, then mix in the cocoa mixture. Whisk in the buttermilk mixture alternately with the flour, mixing just until incorporated. Mix baking soda and vinegar together, then gently fold into the cake batter.
Pour batter into prepared pans. Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean. Allow to cool completely before frosting. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
To Make Icing: In a saucepan, mix the milk and five tablespoons flour. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens. Set aside to cool completely. Cream together butter, 1 cup sugar and 1 teaspoon vanilla until light and fluffy, then stir in the cooled milk and flour mixture, beating until icing reaches spreading consistency.

  • One can (8 ounces) unsweetened crushed pineapple
  • Two cups shredded carrots
  • Four eggs
  • One cup sugar
  • One cup packed brown sugar
  • One cup canola oil
  • Two cups all-purpose flour
  • Two teaspoons baking soda
  • Two teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup chopped walnuts
  • Two packages (8 ounces each) cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup butter, softened
  • Two teaspoons vanilla extract
  • One and Half cups confectioners' sugar

Directions for making Carrot Cake :
  • Drain pineapple, reserving two tablespoons juice. Take a large bowl, beat the carrots, eggs, sugars, oil, pineapple and reserved juice until well mixed. Take a small bowl, mix the flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt; gradually whisk pineapple mixture until blended. Stir in walnuts.
  • Shift to a greased 13-in. x 9-in. baking dish. Bake at 350° for 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean. Cool on a wire rack.
  • For frosting, in a large bowl, whisk cream cheese and butter until you get the consistency. Beat in vanilla. Gradually beat in confectioners' sugar until smooth. Spread over cake. Yield: 12 servings.

Ingredients for Making Bread Butter pudding :
  • Fifty gm butter , softened (optional)
  • 250gm panettone (about 5 medium slices)
  • Two Eggs
  • 142 ml carton double cream
  • 225ml milk
  • One tsp Vanilla Essence
  • Two tbsp caster sugar
  • icing sugar , for sprinkling
  • whipped cream , to serve
Direction for Making Bread Butter pudding :
  1. Preheat the oven to 160C/gas 3/fan 140C and grease a 850ml/ One and a half pint shallow baking pan with a little butter. slice the panettone into wedges, leaving the crusts on. Cut the butter slices in half and arrange them in the dish, buttered side up.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the eggs, cream, milk, vanilla extract and sugar and pour evenly over the panettone.
  3. Put the dish in a roasting tin and pour hot water around it to a depth of about 2.5cm/1in. Bake for 35 minutes until the pudding is just set - it should be yellow inside and nicely browned on top. sprinkle with icing sugar and serve with spoonfuls of custard or whipped cream.

Ingredients for Making Shortcake base :

* One and a Half cups (175g) All purpose flour
* Two 1/4 tsp Baking powder
* Half tsp Salt
* 1/3 cup (75g) Sugar superfine or caster if possible
* 1/3 cup(100g) Unsalted Butter chilled and cubed
* One Egg yolk
* One tbsp Rose water or a few drops of vanilla flavoring

Ingredients for Making The Filling :

* One pound (450g) Fresh strawberries
* Two tbsp Orange juice
* Two cups (500ml) Heavy (double /whipping cream)
* One tbsp Sugar
* Two tbsp confectioners (icing) sugar

Directions for making Strawberry short cake :

1. grease two baking sheets and pre heat oven to 375f / 190c.
2. Mix the flour, baking powder and salt together in a bowl.
3. Rub the butter into the flour until the mixture resembles breadcrumbs.
4. Mix sugar rose water/vanilla flavoring and egg yolk in to the mixture and Mix well together to get a soft dough. Divided the dough into two, and roll each piece of dough to a 8inch ( 20cm) round.
5. Place the dough on the greased baking sheet and crimp the edges of the dough.
6. Bake for 15 minutes until lightly browned. Shift to a wire cooling rack and leave to cool.


1. Pluck green hulls from the strawberries. Slice fruit and place in a bowl. Sprinkle orange juice and sugar. Cover and leave to chill.
2. Whisk the cream until you get consistency then fold in one tablespoon of confectioners (icing) sugar.
3. Cover one of the short cake rounds with half the strawberries. Spoon over the cream then add the remaining strawberries saving a few for decoration.
4. Gently press the remaining shortcake round on top. Decorate with the saved strawberries and dust with confectioners (icing) sugar.

3/4 cup sugar
Half  teaspoon salt
One teaspoon cinnamon
Half teaspoon ginger
Two eggs
One cup cream
Half cup milk

Directions for Making Pumpkin Pie :

Turn pumpkin into saucepan and stir over direct heat for ten minutes until somewhat dry and slightly caramelized, stirring frequently. Remove from heat but keep hot.

Mix the sugar, salt, and spices, and stir into hot pumpkin.

whisk eggs, add cream and milk, and beat into pumpkin mixture until u get consistency.

Pour into unpricked pastry-lined pie pan and bake in a moderately hot oven (400° F) for 25 to 30 min or until pastry is golden brown and only an inch circle in the center of the filling remains liquid. Cool thoroughly on cake rack before cutting.

Note: Perfectly baked pumpkin pie has no cracks on its surface. Baking hot filling in a chilled crust at 400° F for 25 to 30 minutes produces a smooth, shiny good textured custard and a well-baked crust free from soaking. But if your crust is rolled especially thick, or your pie dish is thicker glass instead of tin, or you loathe underdone bottom crust, you might still want to blind bake it a little. Here's what we'd recommend: Blind bake at 350 for 7 minutes with baking beans/weights, then 5 minutes without, then cool thoroughly. Then just watch the pie closely as it bakes -- it might be done early, since the cold raw crust isn't there to protect it. And if the edges are starting to look wrinkled while the middle is very jiggly, turn the heat down to 350.

I am going to share America's one of the best know loved snack cake, Twinkies. Twinkies have been satisfying taste buds and filling lunch packs since 1930.Twinkies are also marketed as Golden Sponge Cake. Here i am going to share the best way for deep frying Twinkies.

Ingredients for Batter :

6 Twinkiesa
Popsicle sticks
Four cups of vegetable oil
Flour for dusting
One cup milk
Two tablespoons vinegar
One Tablespoon oil
One cup flower
One teaspoon baking powder
Half teaspoon salt

Directions :
  • You will want to chill the Twinkies for several hours or overnight.
  • Take your 4 cups of vegetable oil and heat it up in the deep fryer to about 375 degrees
  • In one bowl mix together milk, vinegar and oil.
  • In another bowl mix together flour, baking powder and salt.
  • Whisk the wet ingredients with the dry and place it in the refrigerator while the oil heats up (my deep-fryer takes about 25 minutes to get to Twinkie frying status :) )
  • Take the Twinkies and push the popsicle sticks into them lengthwise and leave enough room at the end of the stick to use as a grip. Dust the Twinkies in the flour and dip them in the batter you had made.
  • Be careful with this next part! Place your Twinkies carefully in the hot oil. Don't get frustrated but the Twinkies do float and will need to be held down with tongs or any other long utensil. The Twinkies should turn a golden color in about 2-4 minutes.
  • Once the Twinkies have changed to the golden brown color take them out and let them soak on a paper towel. Take the stick out and let them cool for about 5 minutes. I top my Twinkies with powdered sugar and chocolate drizzle. However, they are delicious all alone.

Pecan pie is basically a pie which is made of corn syrup or molasses and pecan nuts.authentically it is served at holiday meals and is also considered a delicacy of southern U.S. Most of pecan pie recipe consists of salt and vanilla as flavorings. chocolate and bourbon whiskey as popular additions to the recipe, it is often served with whipped cream.

4 1/2 ounces sugar
4 1/2 ounces light corn syrup
3 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Pinch of salt
1/2 ounces of butter, melted
4 ounces of pecans whole or pieces

Instructions for making Pecan pie :

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Mix the sugar, light corn syrup, eggs, vanilla extract, and salt together in a bowl using a whisk.
Once all the ingredients are completely mixed, add the melted butter.
Cover the bottom of an unbaked pie shell with the pecans.
Pour the filling over the pecans.
Bake 40-45 minutes until done.
Check the pie at about 30 minutes to make sure the top is browning evenly. If it is not, then you might want to rotate the pie.

How to make cheese, Easy recipe to make cheese

Cheese is a generic term for different group of milk-based food products. Cheese is rich in proteins and fat from milk. Basically the milk of cows, buffalo, goats, or sheep is used ti make cheese. It is produced by coagulation of the milk protein casein. Usually , the milk is acidified and addition of the enzyme rennet causes coagulation. The solids are separated and pressed into final form.Some cheeses have molds on the rind or throughout. Most cheeses melt at cooking temperature. there Many types of cheese are produced. Their styles, textures and flavors depend on the origin of the milk (including the animal's diet), whether they have been pasteurized, the butterfat content, the bacteria and mold, the processing, and aging. Herbs, spices, or wood smoke may be used as flavoring agents. 

Ingredients for making cheese : 

2 quarts (liters) of 2% or 3.25% milk (the latter may produce a bit more cheese)
1/4 tsp liquid rennet*
non - iodized salt, such as pickling or kosher salt (optional at this point)

*Liquid rennet is the indispensable ingredient needed to make this type of cheese recipe. I will talk more about it following the recipe instructions.

Directions for making Cheese :

Pour milk into an aluminum or stainless steel pot. Add 1/4 teaspoon liquid rennet and 2 tablespoons non iodized (pickling or kosher) salt. The amount of salt can vary according to your taste. You also have the option of adding salt at a later point instead which is explained below.

On medium heat, stir milk constantly for approximately 10 minutes. At that time, you will begin to see the milk solids separate from the whey and start to clump together. Remove from heat.

You will now need to scoop about 1 cup of the cheese into your hand and squeeze out as much water as you can forming patties about the size of a small hamburger. Transfer cheese to a container and pour a small amount of the liquid whey into the bottom. This will help preserve the cheese for a few days since most of the salt will have remained in the liquid. Or, if you didn't add salt to the milk at the start, you can add the salt to both sides of the patties now.

Cut into small pieces and serve on your favorite bread or mix it in a salad.

chocolate brownie is a baked square cake or bar  The brownie is like a mix between a cake and a cookie in texture.Brownies come in a different fudgy or cakey, depending on their density, and they may have nuts, frosting, whipped cream and chocolate chips. Ingredients for making chocolate brownie :

  • 150g unsalted butter
  • 125g dark chocolate (85% for preference), broken into small pieces
  • 150g demerara sugar
  • 100g caster sugar
  • 50g dark brown sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 80g plain/all-purpose flour
  • 40g cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon instant coffee powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder

Cooking Directions for making chocolate brownie :
  1. Preheat the oven to 180C/350F. Crease a 23cm square baking tin.
  2. Melt together the butter and chocolate in the microwave or in a bowl over a pan of simmering water.
  3. When melted, take off the heat and scrape into a large bowl. Add the sugars and stir with a wooden spoon to combine.
  4. One at a time, add your eggs and continue to mix with your spoon. With the last egg, throw in the vanilla.
  5. Finally, fold in your dry ingredients until just combined. Pour into a baking tin and bake for 25-35 minutes until the brownies are coming away from the side and feel set if you touch them gently on top. Allow to cool in the tin before cutting into squares.

A doughnuts or donut is a kind of fried dough bakery or dessert food. Doughnuts are popular and prepared in different ways as a sweet snack that can be homemade or purchased in bakeries and supermarkets. They are usually deep-fried from a flour dough, and shaped in rings or flattened spheres that sometimes contain fillings. Other types of batters can also be used, and various toppings and flavorings are used for different types. i am going to share my best recipe for doughnuts.

Ingredients for making doughnut :

3/4 cup milk
2 x 7g packets dry yeast
1 cup caster sugar
pinch of salt
4 1/2 cups plain flour
220g butter, chilled and cut into small cubes
3 eggs, lightly beaten
2 teaspoons cinnamon
vegetable or light olive oil, for frying

Method for Making Doughnut :

Heat milk over low heat until just warm (overheating will kill yeast). Remove from heat and pour into a jug. Add yeast, 2 tablespoons caster sugar, and salt. Whisk with a fork until well-combined. Allow to stand for 10 minutes.

Sift flour into a large bowl. Add butter and rub in with fingertips until mixture resembles fine breadcrumbs. Add 1/4 cup caster sugar, stirring until well-combined. Make a well in the centre. Add yeast mixture and eggs. Mix until well-combined. Drop mixture onto a floured surface. Knead for 10 minutes. Place dough into a lightly oiled bowl and cover with plastic wrap. Stand in a warm place for 45 minutes.

Combine remaining caster sugar and cinnamon on a plate. Knock down dough and turn onto a lightly floured board. Cut dough in half and knead each piece for 5 minutes. Roll one piece out to 1 1/4cm thick. Cut 8cm circles with a biscuit cutter. Using a 4cm round cutter, cut out centre of each circle to form donuts. Continue with remaining dough.

Half-fill a frypan with oil. Heat over medium heat until oil is hot. Add 2 to 3 donuts at a time, cooking for 2 to 3 minutes on each side or until golden. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels. Toss donuts, one at a time, in cinnamon sugar until well-coated.

Easy ice cream cake recipe, Easy Desert Recipe

Ice cream cake could be either ice cream in the shape of a cake or cake layered.Ice cream cake is great feast on birthdays and weddings. whip cream frosting is commonly used topping. ice cream is bit different, its not totally baked. Its is layered with cake and ice cream. i am going to share one of the best Ice Cream Cake recipe.

Ingredients for make Ice cream cake : 

1 medium tub good quality vanilla ice-cream
200 g Italian Sponge Finger Biscuits
600 ml boiling water
5 tsp coffee granules
85 g caster sugar
3 tbsp brandy
1 cups (250ml) double cream, lightly whipped
cocoa, for dusting
chocolate shavings

Method for making Ice cream Cake :

Start by lining a 1kg loaf tin with cling film. Mix 5 teaspoons of coffee granules with 600ml boiling water, leave for 5 mins then stir in 3 tablespoons of brandy and 85g sugar.

Take 200g Italian sponge finger biscuits and put 2 to one side. You're going to line the tin with the rest. Dip them quickly in the coffee mixture, and line the sides of the tin with the moistened biscuits. The biscuits along the sides will stand above the rim of the tin.

Spoon a layer of ice cream into the tin, dip the last biscuits into the coffee and place on top end to end. Spoon the remaining ice cream over, then fold the sticking up sponge fingers over to cover the top. Cover and freeze.

To serve, turn out onto a plate, strip off the cling film and dust generously with cocoa. Spoon the cream down the centre and decorate with chocolate.

How to make best chocolate swiss roll cake recipe, Easy and Quick Desert Recipe

A Swiss roll or jelly roll is a type of white or chocolate sponge cake roll. The cake is removed from the pan and spread with jam or butter cream and rolled up.served in circular slices. Here i am going to share one of our favorite chocolate swiss roll, which was our family feast for years.

Ingredients to make chocolate swiss roll cake :

3 medium eggs
75g (3oz) caster sugar, plus 2 tbsp to dust
75g (3oz) plain flour, sieved
25g (1oz) cocoa powder mixed
1 tbsp semi skimmed milk
100g (4oz) unsalted butter, softened
100g (4oz) icing sugar
50g (2oz) milk chocolate, melted
50g (2oz) white chocolate, melted
25g (1oz) dark chocolate, melted
25g (1oz) chocolate curls (see tip)

Method to make chocolate swiss roll cake :

Preheat the oven to 180C/160C fan/350F/Gas 4. Grease and base line a 30cm x 20cm (11¾in x 8in)  Swiss roll tin with greaseproof paper.
Using an electric whisk beat the sugar and eggs together in a large bowl for 10 minutes. They should be pale, thick, nearly triple in volume and leave a trail when the whisk is lifted.
Gently fold in the flour then pour the into the prepared tin. Transfer to the oven and bake for 10 minutes until golden and risen.
Lay a piece of greaseproof paper on the work surface larger than the swiss roll. Dust the greaseproof paper with the remaining caster sugar then carefully turn out the warm sponge onto the sugar-dusted paper.
Peel away the greaseproof paper on the base of the sponge then trim off the edges of the sponge. Score a line along one of the shorter ends of the sponge, approximately 2.5cm (1in) away from the edge.
Start rolling using this incision to help the roll begin,  and the greaseproof paper to help you turn it tightly. Leave to cool completely.
Unroll the sponge and spread with ¾ of the caramel, leaving a 1cm (½ in) border of clean sponge all around. Whip the cream to soft peaks then fold through the mashed banana. Using a palette knife spread the cream over the caramel.
